Unlike most fine-art photographers, Paul Yem does not care about anything but making the most beautiful image he can. His projects usually are based around finding the most accessible idea or place to photograph where he feels as though he can make exciting photographs. Paul often shoots late at night to let all the colors of the night burn onto his film, letting the night sky light up like day, and the stillness of the night take over.
