First I would like to apologize for not posting for the past few weeks. The end of the semester has been creeping up on me and is now here and I have somewhere around 55 prints to make so posts are probably going to halt for the next two weeks as well.

During printing this week I was talking with one of my teachers and some fellow students about departments in the school mingling. The photographers tend to stay in the photography department. Fine artists in the fine art department. You get the idea.

We got to talking about starting an out of classroom experience where anyone can bring work and all departments come to a big group critique so we can all use each other to learn how to talk about different kinds of work outside of their own medium. I am not very good at looking at paintings aside from I like it or I do not like it. So this semester I am spreading the word and I would like to extend the invite to any outside students that would like to come from outside of our school next semester. So starting sometime in February I will be starting up a new blog for the crits with announcements, work from the crits and anything else that comes up.

Also look for some new work in the next few weeks!
